If flour can be used as an explosive, why do we use it in bread?

It's only flammable when it's still a powder. Once it's mixed into bread dough, it's too wet to catch fire.

Oh, right, the kitchen... Whatever happened in there was way too intense to be flour, I think. The stoves were gas, so my money's on some kind of gas explosion. I thought you meant other booby traps had been set.

Well, as far as I know, no one's come back missing a limb or anything. That means either there weren't any other traps, or the others are getting better at dodging.

Though I'm not sure how anyone could have dodged an explosion to the face without magic. Guess you just got unlucky.
