That would've made my role in all of this a lot easier if they'd been upfront about that from the start. [He rolls his eyes.] Now that we know twelve out of the thirteen, I'm thinking we might need a meeting just so everybody's on the same page. Get everyone caught up to speed on what needs to happen and make sure everyone knows who they might be able to work with or coordinate with. Maybe I'm crazy, I don't know.

Yeah. In games like these trust is one of those really fleeting things. [Since she's doing that, he'll just play with the ends of her hair. It's fine.] But I'll take it.
